Product Description

The inorganic gel thixotropic anti-sag additive MIN-U-GEL (abbreviated as MUG) produced by American AMI company has good anti-sag thixotropic effect in both water-based and solvent-based systems. Dry powder, its main component is magnesium aluminum silicate, which is made from inorganic non-metallic minerals through special processing. It can be used in latex paint, paint, ink, adhesive, putty and sealant, cleaning products, etc. Suspension, thickening, sag resistance, rheological adjustment, and can opening are very good.

Product advantages

  • The thickening effect is obvious, preventing the sedimentation of pigments and fillers, preventing the layering of paint and paint, and improving the syneresis of the paint film.

  • It is not sensitive to pH changes, and can maintain a good anti-sagging and thixotropic effect in the range of pH=2~13.

  • Improve the tinting strength and hiding power of pigments.

  • It is a natural inorganic non-metallic mineral, green and environmentally friendly, and does not undergo mildew.

  • Compared with fumed silica, it has a very large price advantage and stable performance.
